Coaching Applicants
Anyone interested in coaching a 2010 - 2011 North Stars' team should complete an application and return it to the Hockey Director, by June 21, 2010. The Board will be selecting coaches during one of the summer monthly meetings and travel team applicants will be required to attend either the July or August meeting to review their interests and qualifications.

2010 - 2011 Coaching Requirements and Clinics
Certification Requirements:
Mites - Level 1
Squirts - Level 2
Pee Wee - Level 3
Bantam - Level 3
Midget - Level 3 for State League, Level 4 for National Bound teams.
All North Stars' head and assistant coaches must meet the minimum coaching credential requirements prior to December 31, 2010.

Junior Coaches
North Stars players wishing to assist other teams must be approved by the Hockey Director. These players must wear full equipment as outlined in the North Stars Handbook while assisting on ice and must wear a helmet while assiting on the bench. Junior coaches will be allowed to assist teams that are at least one USA classification younger than their own with the approval by the Hockey Director.
